Capsaicin - Your Pain Relieving Aid

The topical miracle natural pain relief ingredient drug companies don’t want you to know about!

Capsaicin is an ingredient found in different types of hot peppers that makes the peppers spicy hot. And you may think, Why would I want to apply something that may burn my skin? Capsaicin is an ingredient in many skin products used to relieve pain. It is available as a cream, ointment, gel, liquid, or lotion. Capsaicin works by interfering with Substance P, a chemical that transmits pain signals to the brain. Its properties help to relieve pain that tend to be associated with muscle, joint, or nerve pain.

Products that contain capsaicin do not need a prescription. They can be purchased in your drugstore or even online on our website, PureValley.com. While you do not need a prescription, it is very important to follow the directions on the label. Products that contain capsaicin, should be used 3 to 4 times a day, rubbing in into the affected area until it is no longer visible.

Note: if applied by hand, make sure to wash hands thoroughly to remove any excess product. If the product enters your eyes, flush your eyes immediately. It is recommended to use warm soapy water to remove any product from sensitive areas.

For those who have used an icy-hot pad, you are well aware of the heating and cooling sensations. When using products that contain capsaicin, you may experience a warm, burning, stinging sensation. This is normal, so don't be alarmed. The sensation tends to subside after normal use. Reducing the daily usage will not reduce the sensation but it will reduce the relief you may receive.

Those who have broken skin, sensitive skin, and have allergic reactions to capsaicin should not use products with capsaicin. If you are pregnant or are breastfeeding, you should not use these products as well.

Research supports the use of capsaicin for osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. A study from 1991 involving 100 patients with arthritis symptoms were instructed to apply capsaicin to painful knees four times a day. Results demonstrated that 80% of patients treated with capsaicin experienced pain reduction after only two weeks.

So if you or a loved one are currently experiencing joint or muscle pain, make sure to pick yourself up a pain relieving product that contains Capsaicin!
